The Samgwangsa Temple lights up lotus lanterns on Buddha’s birthday until dawn. Tens of thousands of lotus lanterns stand on the outskirts of Baegyangsan Mountain. It’s a remarkable festival that lights up the darkness in the world through the wisdom of Buddha.
Climb up the stairs lit up by a tunnel of lotus lanterns to get away from reality and delve into a fantasy world. Light created by the numerous lanterns dazzles the eyes. Reach the summit on the back of the Samgwangsa Temple to enjoy the magnificent view of lotus lanterns. It feels like the dark mind full of worries have been lit up.
